    would you mind是邀請用語　(問對方介不介意）。

    Sit whichever seat is available. 有問題，你不能讓seat既是sit的受詞，又是is的主詞。此外，sit在此是不及物動詞，需要加介系詞：Sit on whichever seat that is available.才合理。

    此外，Sit wherever is available.也有問題。寫成：Sit wherever the chair is available.因為動詞is的主詞不可能是Sit wherever（動詞＋副詞）。只有名詞性質的東西或代名詞才能當句子的主詞。
