    boutique = a small fashionable shop, especially one that sells clothes

    to cater for somebody = to provide somebody with everything they wand or need

    rather = quite

    select = carefully chosen from a larger group

    clientele = the customers of a shop etc consider as a group

    The boutique caters for a rather select clientele.

    這家服飾精品店只服務他們所中意的那種客人

    clientele是集合稱,視為一整體時,當單數名詞用,指個別成員時,當複數名詞用。

    customer是可數名詞,有單複數變化。

    兩個字都可以用來指商店的顧客。

    crew = the people who work on a ship, aircraft etc

    視為一整體時,當單數名詞用;指個別成員時,當複數名詞用。

    The jet crashed soon after takeoff, killing all the pasengers and crew.

    指交通工具上,乘客之外的全體工作人員

    sailor = someone who works on a boat or ship

    只限船員和水手
