Q1. They become addicted to their sports because of chemicals ______ in the brain after they perform their dangerous tricks.

(A) release (B) releasing (C) released (D) to release

Q2. _____ from the white population through the "apartheid" system, the non-whites were refused the right to vote and were treated unfairly.

(A) They separate (B) Separated (C) Separating (D) To separate

Because the non-whites were separated from the white population through the apartheid system, they were refused the right to....

Q3. The footprints ______ approximately 12 inches in length.

(A) measure (B) measured (C) were measured (D) have been measured

Q4. Miss Sullivan, who translated books and lectures into sign language for her,

Helen became the first deaf-blind person ______ a bachelor's degree.

(A) earn (B) earning (C) to earn (D) earned

我選B但答案是C,解答是說要用不定詞to earn修飾the first person 可以告訴我是甚麼意思嘛?

I was an English teacher. I am a retired teacher.

She wanted to go to college, so with the help of Miss Sullivan, who translated books and lectures into sign language for her, Helen became the first deaf-blind person ______ a bachelor's degree.

    Q. 2

    逗點前後兩個句子沒有連接詞(and, but, as, because...)

    Be separated>(Being) separated>Separated

e.g. To have a measurement of: The room measures 12 by 20 feet.

    A. Seperating 開頭,代表the non-whites seperate~~ 黑人主動進行種族隔離

    B. Seperated 開頭, 代表the non-whites were seperated, 黑人被種族隔離

The footprint (( ))approximately 12 inches in length.

    4. 答案是B

the first deaf-blind person (who earned) a bachelor's degree

    = the first deaf-blind person earning a bachelor's degree.
