Past tense:-(1)lie v, past tense lied, past participle lying;
eg:-lie to somebody:-I would never lie to you.
eg:-I always know when she's telling lies; She lied yesterday.(past tense.)
(2)lay v, past tense and past participle laid.
eg:-The president's body were laid under the trees to await burial.
eg:-She laid her hand on my shoulder for oil.
