關代雖當主詞用，和beV一起省略???

Question

對關代不是很了解.於是上網研究了一下.

看到這一句"關代雖當主詞用，和beV.一起省略"

I know the girl (who is) next to you.

但如果句子是這樣

I know the girl who is interesting.

省略後變成

I know the girl interesting.

這樣又好像有點怪怪的.

還是我哪裡理解出了問題呢??

以下規則我翻成中文給你:

1. 只有以who, which, 或是that開頭的形容詞子句可以省略主詞和動詞.

I know the girl (who is) next to you.

2. 如果形容詞子句的形式是 be + 單一形容詞, 而你要省略主詞和動詞, 形容詞必須移到被修飾的名詞之前. (就是你最熟悉的, 最正常的寫法)

I know the girl who is interesting.

-> I know the interesting girl. (正確)

->I know the girl interesting. (錯誤)

本人讚同理查的解釋。

本題是與形容詞性質的［修飾語］位置有關，可看文法書裡的說明，單字形式的通常放在被修飾的對象之前，片語和子句必須放後面。

這種將形容詞置於名詞之後稱為後位修飾，但本句用法錯誤‧正確用法如下:

1.The girl in red is my sister.介詞片語in red 當形容詞置於名詞之後修飾girl

2.Is there anything interesting in the book?. 在使用anything,something,nothing ---------之後使用形容詞

3.I know the interesting girl.正規使用形容詞置於名詞之前

另外使用感官動詞就可以

I saw the dog crossing the street.

next is a preposition so who can be skipped.

interesting is a predicate nominative so who cannot be skipped.

Not all relative clauses can skip the subject.
