    我的解釋沒有問題啊, 我哪一句寫culturally-contingent是用來修飾 a sucessful leader? 事實上, culturally-contingent也不是用來修飾 motivator, 它是用來修飾 a process, 而 a process 是前面那一整句的同位語, 不是 motivator. A motivator cannot be a process.

    可能我中間那一段把 successful leader 括起來讓人產生誤解, 如果套到本文, 那把 successful leader 換成 being an effective motivator 比較好. "being an effective motivator " 才是 process 的同位語, 也是culturally-contingent所修飾的部分. 而怎樣才是一個有效的鼓舞者, 是隨著文化而有所差異的.

    是因為上面那句的解釋很合理( and also a convenient translation), 一般很容易就這樣解讀過去也不會覺得也什麼不對. 但是就文章來說, "尊重下屬可能來自不同文化" 也許是一個可能的結果, 但不是一個正確的翻譯. I hope you can understand.

    culturally-contingent 這個詞在形容前面的 motivator, 而非 a successful leader。

    裡查大的解釋,適用在引用的連結文章。但版主原句的出處,並非該文章。無法等同互用。
