    To poster:

The person who learns that he or she is diagnosed with leukemia must be devastated. It is not easy to come up with words of encouragement without treading over the thin line of insensitivity. That being said, you need to let us know how well you know this person and how close your relationship with him/her so we can come up with words that are appropriate to the situation.

Here is what I would say:

    1. Be brave and fight it. I know you can do it!!! You are in our prayers!!!

    2. Please think positive!!! Let us do this together. If you ever need anything, just say the word, I'll be there for you no matter what.

    3. Please keep your head up high and fight this thing. I am confident that you will beat it. We will be with you every step of the way.
