arrested development(發展受阻)的台詞

Bob Loblaw: Look, this is not the first time I’ve been brought in to replace Barry Zuckerkorn. I think I can do for you everything he did. Plus, skew younger. With juries and so forth. Any other questions?

Happy Days - Barry Zuckerkorn, played by Henry Winkler - best known as the Fonz in Happy Days - is fired and replaced by Bob Loblaw, who is played by Scott Baio (who played Chachi Arcola and was introduced to Happy Days to attract younger audiences).

Baio's character Bob Loblaw even says he "[skews] younger" (with juries) in the episode.

Slang. to make conform to a specific concept, attitude, or planned result; slant: The television show is skewed to the young teenager.

Plus, skew younger. With juries and so forth.

    skew younger

I think it might make more sense to be:

    skew younger with juries

If so, it means "to make the juries' age younger." He probably thinks: younger juries would be easier to persuade.

Yes, exactly! This is why people shall do as poster does, watching this kind of program to learn English. Learning grammar will NOT help you to understand the meaning of this conversation.

Of course, poster already has great English proficiency, so he or she can watch program like this. If not, you can still choose easier ones to watch, otherwise, it can discourage you too much !
