想問一個英文問題

despite high price the trip is ,to experience it is worth

這句話的文法跟表達有問題嗎

原義是想說 儘管這行程的費用很高,但仍值得去體驗

已更新項目:

despite high price "the trip costs" ,"to experience it" is worth

其實我是想用the trip costs修飾前面the price

to experinece it 當不定詞主詞

不過確實句子還蠻怪的

    這句話的文法跟表達有問題嗎

    您的句子有雙動詞錯誤(兩個is), 逗號位置也錯誤.

    正確寫法是:

    Despite high price, the trip is worth experecing.

    儘管費用很高,這行程仍值得去體驗。

    be worth + Ving : 值得XXX,

    這是常用片語, 其中worth是介系詞, Ving是動名詞(不是分詞).

    由於trip不等於price, 第一個is不對, 改為costs則可.

    "to experience it"當主詞ok.

    雖有部份字典把worth標示為adj., 但用法上並不單獨作為形容詞, 且從這些字典所附例句觀之, worth後面都接名詞或代名詞且名詞前還加了冠詞(worth a visit或worth it等), 這顯然還是介系詞用法. worth當名詞沒問題, 而形容詞應是worthy.

    2) Despite a high price the trip cosst, to experience it is worth it.

    二者皆可.

    雖有部份字典把worth標示為adj., 但用法上並不單獨作為形容詞, 且從這些字典所附例句觀之, worth後面都接名詞或代名詞且名詞前還加了冠詞(worth a visit或worth it等), 這顯然還是介系詞用法.

    worth標示為形容詞一事在國外英文學習網站早有爭議, 但用作介系詞卻是完全通順.

    maybe "worth" is more likely to be adj. or a noun.

    雖然我在朗文字典上看到是prep.

    其他字典寫adj. / noun.

    for reference.
