There is no such need.
1. You are in the U.S. legally with your F-1 visa. So your B1/B2 visa is useless now (at least not until you leave the U.S.)
2. If you are a Taiwanese Passport holder, you are eligible for visa-free travel (with ESTA) to the U.S. unless you want to stay more than 3 months.
There is no point renewing something that you don't need.

Then it is a totally different story.
If you are currently still in the U.S., no action is required until you leave the U.S.
F-1 visa holder can stay for the duration of status (D/S on your passport) as soon as you maintain your student status.

Even your passport and/or visa expires, you still don't need to act.
However, if you are outside the U.S., you must renew your visa before you can return.
