much雖可用作副詞來修飾形容詞，但也可以用作形容詞來修飾不可數名詞。

副詞是要放在形容詞前面來修飾它的，既然你能斷定much是形容詞，那後面怎會是副詞confidently?

形容词後面當然是名詞confidence才正確。

have confidence in xxx : 對xxx有信心，這是常用的片語。

本句的has是及物動詞，後面要有受詞，如果你填confident或confidently, 那就沒有受詞而不合文法了。
