My father had been working all day yesterday.

My father worked all day yesterday.

has been working 和 had worked 都不對。

    因為

has been working... My father has been working since yesterday.「由昨天起不停工作至今」句子才能成立。

The perfect is the form of a verb which shows a period of time up to and including the present, and in English is usually formed with "has" and the past participle.

The present perfect continuous tense is used here,hence:-

eg:-My father( has been )working for all day yesterday.

Past perfect is not okay:-eg:-had worked, had had, had, -------
