Let the used mass of A and B be 2x and 3x respectively.
The volume of A = 2x / a, while the volume of B = 3x / b
Density of the alloy = (mass A + mass B) / (volume A + volume B)
= (2x + 3x) / (2x/a +3x/b)
=5 / ( 2/a + 3/b )
=5ab / (3a +2b)
