這句話的cutting from 要如何翻譯?

The World Food Program is distributing food aid to the same families that are receiving seeds and cuttings from the FAO to grow vegetables such as green beans, lima beans and sweet potatoes.

這邊的cuttings from 是翻成種植，插秧 插枝的意思嗎？

    ... are receiving A and B from C ...＝正在由C那裡收到A和B

    A= seeds ＝種子

    B＝cuttings =（枝幹或塊莖或塊狀根的）切塊

    C＝the FAO（一個組織的名稱縮寫）

    potatoes是用塊莖的切塊來種植的

    green beans, lima beans才是用種子（seeds）來種植

    應該是seeds and cuttings 一同看，有and 就不能分開
