    1.reflecting the change(現代分詞)通常表示出"屬性"

    2.to reflect the change(不定詞)通常表示出"目的".

    在你這一句話裡面,當然是

I would appreciate a new invoice reflecting the change. 較佳.

    反之:

I would appreciate a new contract to show our commitment to the new project.

    則使用不定詞較佳.

"participle" is a word formed from a verb, ending in -ing=the present participle, an adjective--eg:-a new invoice reflecting the change.

"infinitive" is the basic form of a verb eg:-be, reflect.used by itself with to be called the to-infinitive;eg:-a new invoice to reflect the change.
