請問My third command to the Winged Monkeys," said Glinda, "shall be to carry you to your forest中的shall be前不是應該加上主詞嗎?又不是命令句怎會用動詞作句首?謝謝?

    shall be-----co-ordinate verb with "said"in main cl.

    to carry you to your forest---------(to+n phrase)

    The 2nd command is similar in analysis.coordinate to the same subject.

    "My second command to the Winged Monkeys," said Glinda "will be that they carry you safely to the land of the Winkies.這句的will be 也是前面沒有主詞?

    "My third command to the Winged Monkeys shall be to carry you to your forest," said Glinda.

    The direct speech (a single sentence) is broken into 2 parts with the reporting clause (said Glinda) inserted in between.  The first part is the subject and the second part is the predicate of the sentence.
